The fate of Congress is in VA-02

Anyone who has spent time on the water in Hampton Roads knows that the tide always turns.

The only question is which way, and whether you’re ready when it does. That’s where this race is right now, with 14 days to go.

Here’s everything you need to know about VA-02:

• It’s at the top of the list. When Chris Hayes put up the five House races to watch this fall, VA-02 was #1.

• It’s the most competitive House race in the country. Cook rates it a Toss-Up. Its partisan score is D+0, which means no lean either way.

• It’s THE bellwether. Since 2008, whichever party has won VA-02 has also won the House. The majority runs straight through Hampton Roads.

• It’s being flooded with MAGA money. Trump and his allies have poured $8 million into this district to keep Jen Kiggans in her seat.

And after all of that, it’s still a toss-up. The national spotlight, the forecasts, $8 million in MAGA cash, and the polls are still tied.

$8 million hasn’t moved the needle, and neither have the attack ads. That means the thing that decides this race hasn’t happened yet. It’s what we do in the next 14 days.

So I’m humbly asking: will you rush $20 to power our final get-out-the-vote push and flip VA-02?
